My name, my title, what I do for employment is Irrelevant. I permit no entitlement or value to just wayward conceptions of self. I am not attempting to sell, barter or exchange anything. Honestly, I want to display and engage with others regarding the sheer splendor, magnificence, and utterly captivating beauty that is the wild American Southwest: Arizona. Her grandeur can be distilled from the range of Arizona’s lower (Southern) basin to the Mogollon Rim and beyond to that of the Colorado Plateau. Elevation rapidly alters the weather as on the same day it can be warm in Phoenix but have a 30 degree temperature difference in Pine and be snowing in Overgaard. Within an hour you can visit lowland desert to highland desert (by locals often called shrubby shit) to sparse trees to dense timber. This blog will rarely capture large and exciting aspects of Arizona as I seek to focus on the small moments in life that are the most forgettable and uniquely the most cherished. Fly fishing in the Verde, hiking not Instagram level trails but common ones, searching for geodes but most importantly to spark interest in others to take advantage of the limited time available. Every second is an opportunity to decide how you choose to live your life; whether your path is one of convenience, circumstance or deliberate choice- find the occasion to forcibly decide for yourself then pursue that action with great vigor. Hopefully, this might spark interest in some of you to take advantage of Arizona and everything she offers.
